PRECISION OPTICS
In addition to allowing the 120d II to produce 10 times its original output, the high-resolution lenses produce an even beam of light, with minimal light falloff on the edges, while maintaining a shift in color temperature of less than 200 degrees Kelvin.

MINIMAL EDGE FRINGING
The Spotlight Mount’s new lens technology minimizes chromatic aberrations around the edge of the illumination circle. Compared to similar ellipsoidal fixtures, the Spotlight Mount significantly decreases its edge color fringing to a mere 1mm.

LIGHT SHAPING CONTROL
The Spotlight Mount also offers simple user-interchangeability between Aputure’s 19°, 26°, and 36° lenses. Combined with the internal shutters, filmmakers will be able to gain more control of the shape of their light.

DUAL JUNIOR/BABY MOUNT
The Spotlight Mount was designed with rigging in mind. We gave the Aputure Spotlight a dual Junior/Baby mounting pin so it can be attached to anything from a C-Stand to a Combo Stand or underslung from a lighting grid.

DURABLE METAL BODY
With an aluminum alloy die-cast metal body, the Spotlight Mount maintains Aputure’s standards for durability while utilizing a more lightweight design than typical tungsten ellipsoidal lights.

Spotting Lens Angle Selection

Aputure 19° Spotlight
For studios or larger shooting spaces that require higher light output, choose 19°.
Light output is twice as high as 36°, exceeding light output by 20% compared to 26°. The beam diameter is approximately half that of 36°.

Aputure 26° Spotlight
If both light output and beam diameter are important to you, choose 26°.
The light output is about 20% less than 19°, while the beam diameter is about 65% of 36°.
Compared to the other two sizes, the 26° is more flexible for shooting different scenes.

Aputure 36° Spotlight
This size is suitable for space-constrained locations where large beams of light are required.
The measured beam diameter of 180cm at a distance of 3 meters is twice as large as 19°.
The 36° delivers the smallest light output of the three sizes.
